Analysis tools and third-party tools
We use cookies to ensure the functionality of our web service and homepage, to improve and optimize their use and to be able to personalize them for the user. Cookies are small text files that store information about users and websites from servers on the Internet user's computer when their Internet browser loads websites. This also enables the user to be recognized and the use of our website to be analyzed by the user. Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from the user's hard drive after the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies). Session cookies are required, for example, to remain logged in across multiple pages. In addition, we use cookies that remain on the service provider's hard drive beyond the session. These enable us to recognize the user the next time they visit our website (authentication cookies). We also use cookies for behavioral advertising purposes, i.e. third-party cookies for personalized online advertising (“third-party advertising”). You can refuse the use of cookies in the security settings of your browser. However, we would like to point out that without cookies, areas of the website may be restricted or not usable at all.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (Google Ireland Limited, based in Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland and Google LLC, based in 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, together " Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on the service provider's computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by the user. The information generated in this way about the use of this website by the user (including the IP address of the user) is transmitted to a Google server, also in the USA, and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by the user, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on Google's behalf. The user can prevent the installation of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case the user can if applicable not use all functions of this website in full. By using our website, the user agrees to the processing of the data collected about them by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can find more information about Google's terms of use and how Google Analytics works here: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/; https://support.google.com/analytics/?hl=de#topic=1008008
Note on the US transfer: By using Google Analytics, your data, including personal data, can be transferred to the USA. The level of data protection in the USA is not equivalent to the level of data protection in the EU, but lower in comparison to the EU. There is therefore no adequate level of data protection in the USA. By agreeing to this data protection declaration, the user expressly consents to the transmission of his personal data to the USA. Irrespective of this, we also refer to our legitimate interest in optimizing and analyzing our online offer within the meaning of Art 6 Para 1 lit f GDPR.
Plugins from various social networks such as Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn are also integrated on our websites. If you click on a plug-in provided by these (social) media networks, this will be activated, a connection to the server of the respective network will be established and your data can be transmitted to this network. We have no influence on the scope and content of the data that the operator of the respective network processes in this case. If you do not agree to the transmission of your data, please avoid activating the plug-ins. For more information about the type, scope and purpose of the data collected, please contact the respective network operator.
When you visit our website, log files are also saved, which contain the IP address and other data for accessing the website. The data processing is limited in time and only to protect against DDOS attacks or other interventions in the functionality of the website and any underlying database systems. We therefore refer in particular to our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art 6 Para 1 lit f GDPR.
